“Anyone has the right to request that a digital website, mobile application or some element thereof be made accessible. You can also request that the information be made available through an alternative means of access, for example, by reading a digitally inaccessible document, describing the content of a film without audiodescription, etc. The request should include the details of the person making the request, an indication of which website or mobile application is being requested and a method of contact. If the requesting person indicates a need to receive the information through an alternative means of access, they should also specify a convenient way of presenting the information. The public entity should comply with the request immediately, no later than within 7 days of the request. If it is not possible to meet this deadline, the public entity shall immediately inform the requesting party when the fulfillment of the request will be possible, but this deadline shall not be longer than 2 months from the date of the request. If digital accessibility cannot be provided, the public body may propose an alternative means of accessing the information. If the public entity refuses to comply with the request to provide accessibility or an alternative way of accessing the information, the requester may file a complaint on the provision of digital accessibility of the website, mobile application or an element of the website or mobile application].
After exhausting the procedure indicated above, a request may also be made to the Ombudsman.”
